Terms of service

These terms apply when you book dog walking, day care, boarding or pickup services with Crate Escape in Bolton. They are written in plain English so there are no surprises.

Bookings

• A booking made through our website is a request until we confirm it by email, text or phone.
• Please give accurate details about your dog, including anything that could affect their care — allergies, fears, health conditions or behaviour around other dogs.
• All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations. We may ask to see proof before a first visit.

Payment

• Prices are shown when you book. Trial walks are free.
• Depending on your preference, we will send a secure card payment link after reviewing your booking, or arrange bank transfer, cash on the day, or an invoice.
• Card payments are processed securely by Stripe.

Cancellations and changes

Plans change — we get it. Please tell us as soon as you can if you need to cancel or rearrange, and we will do our best to accommodate. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may mean we ask for payment in advance for future bookings.

Your dog's care and safety

• We are licensed by Bolton Council, fully insured, first-aid trained and DBS checked.
• Dogs are cared for in small groups and never overcrowded.
• If your dog becomes unwell or is injured while in our care, we will contact you straight away. If urgent veterinary treatment is needed and we cannot reach you, we will act on a vet's advice. Vet fees are the owner's responsibility unless the need for treatment was caused by our negligence.
• We may decline or end a booking if a dog shows aggression or if continuing would put people or other dogs at risk. We will always talk to you first where possible.

Our liability

We take every reasonable care of your dog and your property. We are responsible for loss or injury caused by our negligence; we are not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete information given at booking. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
